Hi Chris, Just to let you know it wasn't all in vain. I'm updating my computer today, with many of the features you kindly shared with us at the workshop.
Well, Writely will have to wait. LOL
So far, I have the del.icio.us, and seedwiki loaded up on my bookmarks for future reference, and will eventually transfer all bookmarks to del.icio.us. Wow!
And I thought I was computer literate. LOL You may recall that I mentioned an interested in French, due to academic training, though it is business that I teach at NJCU. Well in French, there is something called the New Novel, which began to emerge in the 1960's. So now there is also a New Computer Literacy, which requires New training.
And that's where I thank you, Chris. Best regards and keep up the great work!
This blog was originally developed for a workshop on New Literacies. I've expanded it to address issues relating to my teaching, research, and other workshops.
